We are delighted to announce the appointment of Andrew Baker as our new Principal, beginning Term 1, 2024.
Andrew is currently the Principal at Nazareth Catholic Community and has held this position since 2021. Andrew previously held the position of Principal at Gleeson College, Golden Grove from 2014 to 2021 and prior to that, he was our Deputy Principal from 2005 to 2014.
Andrew is an experienced Catholic leader with a deep personal faith and brings a demonstrated commitment and enthusiasm for ensuring excellence in teaching and learning to this leadership role at St Francis de Sales College. His high level personal and professional qualities, skills and knowledge will enable him to successfully lead the St Francis de Sales College community.
We congratulate Andrew on his appointment, and we know that he is very much looking forward to working with our staff, students, families and parish community again.
We also take this opportunity to thank Gavin McGlaughlin for his leadership, vision and innovation he contributed to our College community as Principal over the last six years.
